FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Trudy Busch Valentine Endorsed by Missouri Nurses Association

Nurse and fourth-generation Missourian Trudy Busch Valentine announces endorsement from Missouri’s largest professional nursing association

St. Louis — Today, nurse and fourth-generation Missourian Trudy Busch Valentine’s campaign for U.S. Senate was endorsed by the Missouri Nurses Association.

The Missouri Nurses Association has helped nurses from every corner of Missouri for over 100 years. Registered nurses represent the largest segment of health professionals, with more than 110,000 in Missouri and 4 million nationwide.

“As a Registered Nurse, we know that Trudy is well aware of the realities of her patients’ daily lives and the importance of health care, childcare, and mental health,” said Rebecca McClanahan, Chair of the Missouri Nurses Association PAC. “As a nurse, we know she has the ability to assess a situation and bring thoughtful solutions to the table to solve problems – without regard for who gets credit.”

“I am humbled and honored to represent the hardworking nurses of Missouri and to be endorsed by the Missouri Nurses Association,” said Trudy Busch Valentine. “If elected I would be the first nurse ever to serve in the U.S. Senate. After electing hundreds of lawyers and career politicians, Washington could sure use a nurse who brings compassion and integrity to solve the issues that Americans care about most.”
